My father was my mentor, he inspired me everyday as I watched him perform as an artist and photographer working full time while raising a family of six. This passion and drive created who I am today.
I have a diverse and eclectic style that comes from my desire to explore my feelings and emotions. It is my whimsical interpretation of how I see the world.
My intention was to use my outside influences throughout my life to create a world of bright energetic focus, that would inspire a mood intuitively. My desire is to assist others in their own eclectic journey.
When I began painting my acrylic abstracts It started instinctively wanting to capture ones attention by exploring color and movement. It evolved into inspiring a mood altering feeling that would come alive through my desire to create my own eclectic style.
My on going series of whimsical birds were created to capture the human essence, personality traits and qualities we all have and that can sometimes change over time. Who we really are and who we pretend to be throughout our life. It's the walls we build that block us from opening up to new experiences. The birds are meant to project the five personality traits that take us throughout life.
