Steps To End Exhaustion
Good Afternoon from the Garden Cafe!!! I have decided to mix things up alittle bit and sneak an afternoon blog in once in awhile and maybe even a Happy Hour one!! I believe that right about now everyone should be feeling that mid-afternoon blah. So what better topic to chat about is Exhaustion or that tired feeling we get at different times of the day or maybe you feel it all the time. Do you remember the time when you didn't feel exhausted? How long has it been since you had the energy to do everything you needed and wanted to do?
No matter how you feel now, know that exhaustion is not a natural part of getting older. Here's how you can fight fatigue with 5 simple steps: 1. Eat energy-supported foods. Avoid sugar, white rice, white flour, and eat more fruits, vegetables,nuts, legumes, organic meat, fish, or eggs. 2. Explore vitamins, minerals, and phytotherapy. Take extra B vitamins, magnesium and maybe some Siberian ginseng. 3. Get regular moderate exercise. Take a walk outdoors after lunch each day. 4 Choose napping and going to bed early instead of caffeine. 5. Practice what restores you rather than depletes you. Take a good look at your habits, and choose to do more of what fills your cup and makes you happy. Keep a journal and write down how you feel at the end of each day..It can be simply one word or multiple pages.
