How To Create Your Happiness
Good Morning from the Garden Cafe! So as I am sitting here at the Cafe sipping my coffee and thinking about the world and life as we know it. I begin to ask myself what is happiness? Where can we find it? And once we do, how do we keep it? Wow this is deep. I mean who are the happinest people in the world? Also what do you think would make you happy? Money, success, beauty, love....How come when people have these they still struggle to find happiness in their daily lives.
Maybe because happiness hinges on our choices, attitudes and thoughts and when we know more about these choices, it can help us find the lifelong joy we all strive for. Changing your daily habits of how you think. keeping positive thoughts. Paying attention to your instinctive emotional responses and begin consciously challenging the negitive thoughts that like to swarm around in our heads. Develop a self-calming mental mantra (Everything will be ok, I'll get through this...Im feeling happy!!!)
Practice being happy!! It's all about habits....Most of the thoughts that go through our mind our inaccurate. We will always pay the price for thinking negitively. But putting your energy into cultivating meaningful relationships with family and friends will get you that feeling you could never achieve anywhere else. Also having a sense of duty and inner purpose outside of ourselves.
Basically you can have all the success and money in the world but if you are lonely or feel unloved it doesn't mean a thing. Try doing considerate, loving and generous acts of kindness on a daily and see how you feel after a few days or a month. Better yet...
